Road Test Options at CMSC Cape Cod

•  Road Test: 

  • Road tests at CMSC Cape Cod are held monthly on Saturdays and are based out of the Hyannis Home Office. 

    • To be added to the road test list, students must call, text [phone] or [phone], or email [e-mail] the call center and provide the following information: 

    • Student’s full name  

    • Date of birth  

  • John will contact students who have been confirmed for that month’s road test to provide the scheduled date and time. 

  • Students will also be offered a 15–20 minute pre-test warm-up. All students will meet at Barnstable High School before being transported to the Hyannis Main Office. 

• Costs 

  • CMSC road test fee: $199 per test. 

  • RMV license fee: $85 (paid directly to the RMV)  

    • License printing/mailing fee: $50 (one-time fee; not charged again if the student fails)    

    • RMV test administration fee: $35  

  • If a student fails the road test, additional RMV fee of $35 to retest, paid directly to the RMV
